Demystifying the Current Drug Shortage Problem in EMS

A recent meeting sponsored by the DHHS, the ASPR, the EMS industry, and attended by other key industry players including the FDA and drug manufacturers/suppliers showed that the problems are due to a diverse manufacturing demand on a production capacity incapable of meeting those demands. The important thing is where we go next.

Is ‘SSM’ Still a ‘Bad Idea’?
I think that the majority of you that talk about a unit sitting on a dirty street corner for 12 hrs at a time don't realize that if they are doing that, the system doesn't need SSM.

Trauma Shears Dilemma
Leatherman Raptors are amazing... but they rust after a couple months. Wish they didn't rust but that is the only disadvantage of the raptor other than how bulky they are. 6
