What we've found is information that is both in line and conflicting with some of the prior comments on this page. Is ‘SSM’ Still a ‘Bad Idea’?
I think that the majority of you that talk about a unit sitting on a dirty street corner for 12 hrs at a time don't realize that if they are doing that, the system doesn't need SSM.

Trauma Shears Dilemma
Leatherman Raptors are amazing... but they rust after a couple months. Wish they didn't rust but that is the only disadvantage of the raptor other than how bulky they are. 6
